A historic theatre building, the Théâtre Jean-Alary, was built on the site of a former Jacobin convent. The theatre was built in the 1930s in an Art Deco style and has a capacity of 850 seats, hosting various shows from October to May.

A gate, last vestige of the four gates opened in the walls of the fortifications that surrounded the lower town, built from 1355 to 1359 and rebuilt on its original site in 1779. The gate features an armorial bearing the King's arms and the city's coat of arms, surmounted by a count's crown.

A Catholic cathedral in Carcassonne, France, built in the 13th century as a parish church and later rebuilt as a fortified church after war damage. It was elevated to cathedral status in 1803 and is currently used by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.

A Gothic Flamboyant-style chapel, Notre-Dame-de-Santé, built in the 16th century, features a portico with voussures and a blazon of Jean de Saix.

A historic bridge, the Pont-Vieux, is the oldest documented bridge with records dating back to 1184. It features 12 arches in a horseshoe shape, spanning 225 meters, and was originally divided into two parts by an arch marking the boundary between the city's lower and upper districts.
