Miklošič Road

Ljubljana Central Pharmacy

Sight A Neo-Renaissance building housing the city's central pharmacy, designed by Ferdinand Hauser in 1896-97 and built by Gustav Tönnies, featuring a façade by Filip Supančič.

Bishop's Mansion

Sight A majestic Bishop's Palace was built after the 1511 earthquake by the Bishop of Ljubljana, Krištof Ravbar, featuring a beautiful Baroque courtyard and hosting noted guests like four tsars, including Napoleon.

Narcissus Fountain

Sight A late Baroque stone fountain featuring a marble statue of Narcissus sitting on a rocky mass, gazing into a water mirror underneath, as depicted in Ovid's Metamorphoses, where the mythical figure falls in love with his own reflection.

Town Square

Sight A major square in Ljubljana's city center features the Ljubljana Town Hall, Robba Fountain replica, and the Krisper House, where Slovene poet France Prešeren's muse Julija Primic was born, and composer Gustav Mahler lived for a time.

Čop Street

Sight A historic street in Ljubljana, once named Elephant Street, was renamed Prešeren Street in 1892 and then Čop Street in 1949, named after Matija Čop, a literary figure and friend of France Prešeren.
